History revisited in this 1810 stately Village Bed and Breakfast. Located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York in the Village of East Bloomfield, NY (10 minutes to Canandaigua, NY, 30 minutes from Rochester, NY).
We welcome you with warm hospitality to sleep in one of our three private, beautiful guest rooms. Anchor your vacation here for wineries, golf, antiquing, historical sites, or simply enjoying the most quiet of romantic getaways.
Sleep free from everyday worries. Our warm hospitality along with our peaceful, quiet, lodging provides you with rest, relaxation and tranquility you deserve.
The private guest accommodations include the comfort of the 1810 style Keeping Room with original beehive oven, over stuffed furniture, TV/VCR, movies, games and books for entertainment. The dining room offers a guest amenity cabinet filled with the conveniences of your own kitchen; dishes, silverware, stemware, microwave, coffee, tea, snacks and a refrigerator stocked with fruit juice, soda and bottled water.
All three second floor guestrooms at the Abner Adams House have been named after three very important women in our lives and contain memorabilia from each. Amenities are individual to each room and may include a private fireplace, steam shower for two, massage tub and a balcony overlooking our private gardens.
Enjoy a romantic night away, just the two of you. Private room with private Champagne massage tub for 2, fresh flowers and chocolates on the pillow. Dinner Certificate to an area restaurant, plus an Abner Adams House souvenir to remember your stay. At your request we can also help arrange spa services, theatre tickets and more. Each morning a hearty country breakfast is served including fruit juice, fresh fruit appetizer, homemade baked goods, and a hearty country entree along with ham, bacon or sausage, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk.
For outdoor tranquility there are several areas with abundant gardens for your enjoyment. The open front porch includes wicker seating. In the back you can sit quietly on the screen porch or outside rockers and listen to the water in the koi pond and the distant ringing of church bells. On the side of the house there are small wooded trails with several benches for a moment of solitude. Or take your favorite book and swing peacefully in the hammock under the ancient black walnut trees.
The Abner Adams House is in the perfect location for many outdoor activities. We can help customize a package for you that may include golfing, dining, wine tasting, sailing the Erie Canal, visiting the Genesee Country Village, Museums and Art Galleries, Sea Breeze Amusement Park, Sonnenberg Gardens, Seneca Park Zoo and more.
