The Solvang Gardens Lodge is a charming and tranquil escape from the chaos of contemporary life. Located in a quiet setting within gardens and fountains on the edge of Solvang's old world European village in the Santa Ynez Valley, home of more than 75 wineries located a short distance away.

Wine Experience Retreats

Select a charming room and spend two nights of tranquility and leisure. In the morning wake up to fresh coffee and a continental breakfast. You will be picked up by Stagecoach Co. for your tour of the Santa Ynez Valley. You will visit 4 unique wineries where you will have the opportunity to taste their wines. A wine country picnic lunch will be served at one of the charming wineries. Return to the property and relax in the garden.

Dinner Theater Retreats

Cycling Tour Retreats

Enjoy a half day of cycling through the wineries and open fields of the Santa Ynez Wine Valley. Ride through hillsides where the Discovery team practices and be at one of the stages of the Amgen Tour of California. The guided tour runs from 9 am till 1pm through either Ballard Canyon (easy-moderate; 17 miles), Happy Canyon (easy-moderate; 26 miles), or Nojoqui Falls (moderate; 20 miles). Culminate your tour by getting your massages in the secluded Garden Spa Cottage. Tour includes specialized road bicycles with 27 speeds and specialized helmets. Bicycles available in all sizes.
